València, 13 January 2025.- From 22 to 24 January, Feria Valencia will become the global epicentre of the children’s sector, bringing together more than 500 leading brands and 300 VIP buyers from 54 countries. All in a gross area of 20,000m2 with a 12% increase in brands compared to 2024.
The 5th edition of BKS+FIMI, which has seen a 50% increase in the attendance of international VIP clients compared to the previous year, is the result of an intensive promotional campaign and reverse missions organised by ASEPRI, with the support of IVACE, ICEX, and Feria Valencia.
By sectors, 66% of international clients have children’s fashion in their catalogues, while up to 82% offer childcare products and toys. Finally, 37% of the buyers attending the fair include footwear in their offerings. This means that a large part of these companies market all three sectors simultaneously in their businesses.
Regarding the geographical areas, most buyers come from Europe. Among the 18 nationalities that have confirmed their attendance, Italy and Portugal account for 60% of European clients. The remaining 26% are non-European companies, with 5% from Africa, 12% from Asia, and 9% from America: Among the more than 36 represented countries are the USA, Morocco, Peru, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica, and Panama, among others.
Some of the international VIP clients who will be at Babykid Spain + FIMI include the Polish chain XXXLutz, with 350 points of sale; Hankyu from Japan, and Blue Salon from Qatar, both major international department stores. The Turkish chain Bgstore Magazacilik, and the Latin American Falabella, with 35 stores in Peru and 42 in Chile, will also be present.
Additionally, there is a notable presence of large importers from countries such as Nigeria, Thailand, Japan, Turkey, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Egypt.
