Spanish children’s brands triumph at their double event in May

15 June 2026

This May has been a clear example of the strength of our brands at industry events for children’s products, with a notable participation in two of the most important international fairs in the sector: Toys Milano (Italy) and Día Mágico by FIMI.

Toys Milano 2026: Innovation and child safety in Italy

On the 10th and 11th of May, Spanish talent conquered Milan. The Italian city hosted a new edition of Toys Milano under the slogan “Full of Magic”, and the Spanish childcare sector left an indelible mark at Fiera Milano City.

Italy is not just any market for Spanish brands, as it is the third most important destination for Spanish childcare exports. Therefore, the commitment was strong: 22 Spanish brands took advantage of this strategic platform to consolidate relationships with distributors and retailers.

Supported by ASEPRI and ICEX, Spanish companies demonstrated that innovation, design, sustainability, and safety are the pillars of our industry. Among the participants were:

  • Micuna and Cotinfant, leaders in children’s furniture and co-sleeping cribs with eco-friendly designs and sustainable woods.
  • Happymami, revolutionising breastfeeding with its first custom-designed bottle.
  • Cool Bottles, betting on sustainable alternatives to plastic with their thermal bottles.
  • Nines D’Onil, with their beautiful handmade dolls.
  • My Baby, ensuring safe rest with health-certified mattresses.
  • Pasito a Pasito / Walking Mum, setting trends with urban-style maternity bags.

The national offer was complemented by great proposals from brands such as Cerdá, Jané, Kiokids, Miniland, Tutete, among others, reinforcing Spain’s leading position in the international childcare landscape.

Día Mágico by FIMI 2026: Consolidating the Spanish ceremony in the global market

A few days later, on the 15th and 16th of May, Valencia once again became the epicentre of children’s communion and ceremony fashion. From ASEPRI, in coordination with Feria Valencia and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and IVACE+i, we managed a programme of invitations to international buyers that exceeded all expectations.

This edition represented a significant leap, confirming the presence of 29 VIP international clients, which represents a 16% increase compared to the previous edition. Spanish ceremony brands have generated valuable business opportunities with highly specialised buyers from key countries such as Italy, Portugal, Malta, Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Mexico.

The event brought together 50 leading exhibitors, highlighting the enormous potential of the Valencian sector, which represented 29.2% of the total. As our director, Eva Segura, points out: “Support for internationalisation remains a priority for us. The ceremony sector is moving towards greater international openness, where adaptability and specialisation will be key to competing”.

Brands associated with ASEPRI such as Caminito Shoes, María Catalán, Siena, Amarca Kids, Javilar Kids, and Varones were present at the event, demonstrating why “Made in Spain” ceremony fashion is an undisputed global reference.

The magic on the runway: the “Paseo Mágico” fashion show

If there was a moment that captured all the attention and encapsulated the true essence of the fair, it was undoubtedly the much-anticipated Paseo Mágico fashion show.

This event, which had strong backing from ICEX Spain Export and Investments, became the true heart of the fair. The runway flooded the venue with magic and trends with the participation of 12 leading brands in the sector.

The turnout was overwhelming: hundreds of attendees gathered to discover exclusive collections of immense design and creativity value.

The participating brands were: Alhuka Ceremonias, Amarca Kids, Anavig Comunión, Barcarola, Chus Rodríguez, Eva Martínez, Javilar Kids, Lilus, Mon Air, Montserrat Lozano, Niseret, and Querida Philippa.

Next steps on our international route

The success at Día Mágico and Toys Milano drives us to continue working. Our next stop will be FIMI Boutique (30th June and 1st July), followed by our strategic Baby & Kids Products from Spain Showroom in Bogotá (22nd and 23rd July), organised by ASEPRI and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Colombia and ICEX.

We continue to generate business opportunities and position our brands where they deserve to be. We look forward to seeing you at these events!
