ASEPRI has held its VIII Meeting of the children's products sector.

On Thursday, May 26, we held the eighth meeting of the sector in Madrid,

This edition with the aim of having a current vision of the sector, its keys, challenges and uncertainties.

We discussed how to mitigate the increase in the cost of energy, transport and raw materials; how digitalization is key in the internationalization strategy of companies and how sustainability has gone from being a trend to become something strategic for companies.

José M.ª O’kean, Professor of Applied Economics and professor of various subjects at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville and IE Business School, gave a presentation on the map of the current economic and geopolitical environment and his recommendations to mitigate its effects.

In the digital environment (international online sales) we have had the presentations of PAZ Rodriguez and its experience in b2b and b2c sales; Tutto Piccolo and its differentiation strategies in different markets and Asalvo and its experiences in different marketplaces.

One of the pillars of the meeting was sustainability as a priority for companies and what are the new production models.

Experts such as Miniland, with its small initiatives to be considered a sustainable company; Probe Balloon, explaining how even being a children’s fashion startup, you can take your first steps on the sustainable and ecological path; Suavinex, with its sustainable pediatric and maternity cosmetic line and its acceptance in the market;

The most awaited moment of the whole event: NETWORKING.

The networking space that is generated within the ASEPRI Meeting has always been one of the most desired moments for visitors and speakers. It is the perfect opportunity to generate contacts and identify business opportunities in collaboration with the children’s industry.

We ended the meeting with the round table. Questions such as: What to do in these times of global uncertainty? How to make the best decisions for your company? The table was made up of experts and reference brands: PAZ Rodríguez, Alondra, Veepee, Gocco and Suavinex.

After the pandemic caused by COVID 19, this is the first meeting organized by the Spanish Association of Products for Children and it has been a complete success.
