The event closed its doors last Friday with a significant increase in the number of visitors, both national and international.

The opening of new markets, key for exhibitors.

The fifth edition of BabyKid Spain + FIMI, co-organised by Feria Valencia and ASEPRI, closed its doors last Friday with resounding success. The significant increase in professional visitors, the internationalisation of business contacts, and the high appreciation from attendees have positioned this fair as a benchmark in the children’s product sector.

The opinions of the exhibitors are unanimous in highlighting this success. Paula Nogales, marketing manager of Onna, expressed her satisfaction with the number of contacts generated, while noting that “there has been a lot of positive evolution in these four years we have participated in BabyKid Spain + FIMI 2025”. Similar sentiments were echoed by the children’s footwear brand Teresa Rodríguez, manager of Baby Lobitos: “we love coming to the fair, reconnecting with the usual shops and meeting new clients. As always, we have had very good attendance.”

From Safta, Vicente Forment highlighted the surprise of finding clients from outside Spain, such as Portugal, African countries, or Turkey. Nerea Quintana, designer of Cua Cuak, positively valued the visit from international clients from Japan and Latin America. Elena Mañes, from Siena Complementos, emphasised the large turnout of both national and international clients, including Morocco, Japan, Italy, France, and Mexico. Antonio García, manager of Creaciones Charo, expressed his joy for the new contacts and the loyalty of clients from Latin America and southern Italy.

The change of location to pavilion 7 was also well received. Ana Gabriela García Quirós, CEO of Naáy Botanical, noted that “we were surprised to see that we had many more visits than last year. They are quality visitors with very good contacts.” Ariana Marín, director of Fun*das Barcelona, highlighted the fair’s work in attracting international visitors: “we had never had visits from foreign buyers like Italy, Greece, or Portugal.” Ángel Juan, manager of Nines d’Onil, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in this edition, emphasised the continuous growth of the fair and the acquisition of new clients from various countries such as Iraq or Italy: “each year it has been getting better and this edition has exceeded expectations.”

A success resulting from a joint effort at BabyKid Spain + FIMI 2025

Alicia Gimeno, director of BabyKid Spain + FIMI, expressed her satisfaction with the results achieved: «We are very proud to have reached these objectives. The positive feedback from our exhibitors is the best reward for our work. We agree that this edition has been a milestone in the history of BKSFIMI, consolidating its position as an essential meeting point for professionals in the sector».

Gimeno wanted to highlight the importance of co-organisation with ASEPRI. In her opinion, «our joint work has been fundamental in providing exhibitors with a high-quality event and attracting an increasingly qualified audience». Additionally, the director of BKSFIMI thanked the support of institutions such as ICEX and IVACE. “We want to express our sincere gratitude to ICEX and IVACE for their great effort in attracting international clients, as their support has been key for companies worldwide to know about BKSFIMI and our exhibitors,” said Gimeno.

In this regard, during the last day, BabyKid Spain + FIMI 2025 received a visit from a delegation from ICEX, who had the opportunity to exchange impressions with various exhibitors who have managed to establish new international contacts thanks to their support.
