ASEPRI presents its 8th Showroom Baby & Kids products from Spain, at FIMI

  • ASEPRI inaugurated its 8th Showroom for international buyers at FIMI summer. We welcomed 100 VIP buyers from Latin America, Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • 16 VIP buyers from potential new markets participated in the B2B meetings organised by ASEPRI to generate business opportunities.
  • Under the umbrella of Children’s Fashion from Spain and with the theme “The Sea”, we hosted the only collective catwalk held in the international trade fair circuit.

 

ASEPRI (Spanish Association of Children’s Products) inaugurated its 8th Showroom for international buyers and importers at FIMI Summer. This event featured buyers from Latin America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, and the Middle East. The main objective was to foster trade agreements between the associated Spanish brands and international clients.

An exclusive event, Baby & Kids products from Spain, where 22 brands from the children’s products sector connected with 16 international VIP clients from the nursery, fashion, and children’s footwear sectors with scheduled B2B agendas.

The showroom took place during the FIMI SUMMER fair on the 27th and 28th of June.

The Baby & Kids products from Spain showroom is a differentiated and personalised event, exclusive to Spanish brands with a working agenda, where international key players discover our essence, creativity, and design with excellent quality and price.

The Spanish brands that participated in the 8th edition of the Showroom, and also exhibited at FIMI Summer, represent all types of children’s products, target markets, and profiles, and had the opportunity to access multiple markets without the need to travel and explore the potential of their brand through B2B meetings. This year, 22 brands participated:

With this Showroom, ASEPRI continues its international promotion strategy for Spanish brands by carrying out innovative actions that provide new business opportunities for the sector.

International clients will visit FIMI Summer and the Baby & Kids products from Spain Showroom:

In addition to the Baby & Kids products from Spain showroom organised by ASEPRI, buyers from around 25 countries visited FIMI. From Latin America, notable buyers came from Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Guatemala, and Panama. In terms of Europe: Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Bulgaria, and Croatia are the most prominent countries as natural markets. In Asia, Japan and Singapore stand out, and finally, from the Middle East, buyers from the United Arab Emirates and Oman were present.

This edition saw a strong Latin American presence with new clients such as Almacenes Travesura and Pepe Ganga from Colombia, which together have 55 points of sale across the country, Kids Collection with 7 stores in Bolivia, the leading department store in Panama Felix Maduro, Bambi from Puerto Rico, and Almacenes de Prati from Ecuador.

On the other hand, participating brands had the opportunity to explore the African market with clients from Kenya, such as Peekaboo, with 3 stores, and the Middle East with WeeMimi from Oman and Mostafawi from the United Arab Emirates.

Thanks to the support of ICEX, Generalitat Valenciana, IVACE and the Chamber of Commerce, we were able to host more than 100 international VIP buyers, contributing to the internationalisation of the brands.

FIMI summer KICKS OFF STRONGLY its most international edition

The International Children’s and Youth Fashion Fair, FIMI, returned with its summer edition, which took place on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th of June at Feria Valencia.

The fair presented a renewed format that highlighted the focus on international buyers.

ASEPRI brought a total of 36 of its associated brands to FIMI, offering a vast selection of high-quality and well-designed children’s products. The participating brands offered fashion, footwear, and accessories.

  • Brands specialised in children’s fashion and accessories: Juliana, Canada House, Fina Ejerique, Agatha Ruiz De La Prada Baby, Babidu, Babybol, Babydif, Beatriz Montero, Boboli, Calamaro, Foque, Javilar Kids, Mac Ilusión, Martín Aranda, Mayoral, Newness Kids, PAZ Rodríguez, PAZ Rodríguez Revolution, Rapife, Tartaleta, Tutto Piccolo, Yatsi, Tobogan, Minibol, Tuc Tuc, Nath, Siena Complementos.
  • Brands specialised in children’s footwear: Caminito Shoes, Pisamonas, Gioseppo Kids, Ria Menorca, Big Toes
  • Brands specialised in nursery, childcare, and beach items: Saro, Suavinex, Beaba, Bimbidreams

FIMI is the only professional fair of international scope in Spain. It consolidates, in its 96th edition, as the premier meeting point for leading manufacturers, designers, and distributors from around the world.

The foreign buyer, a priority target

Undoubtedly, the presence of foreign buyers contributes to the internationalisation, promotion, and development of the brands participating in FIMI. In this regard, FIMI worked in collaboration with ASEPRI and jointly with IVACE, Cámara Valencia, ICEX, and the Generalitat Valenciana on a campaign to invite international buyers.

ASEPRI managed the invitation of international press covering the event, including specialised media: CWB from the UK, Fashion Network from France, Fashion Channel from Italy, and Emily Kornya from Germany, with the collaboration of ICEX.

FIMI KID FASHION WEEK  

Under the umbrella of CHILDREN’S FASHION FROM SPAIN and with the theme “The Sea” , the international catwalk of FIMI summer was presented, featuring brands such as MAYORAL, ABEL&LULA, MARTIN ARANDA, NEWNESS, JAVILAR, BEATRIZ MONTERO, BLUE SEVEN, DBD IDEAS,

The catwalk is set to be the main meeting point for designers, brands, buyers, and media from around the world.

FKFW is the only collective catwalk held in the international trade fair circuit specialised in children’s and youth fashion, being an event that supports participating brands in their creativity and staging to present the trends that will define the season and foster valuable commercial contacts for the participating companies in the catwalk agenda.

The catwalk, which took place on Thursday 27th of June at 5pm, and which has ICEX support, includes a digital campaign from July to September 2024 in MEXICO – CHILE – CARIBBEAN – USA, with images and videos of the participating brands that will be carried out by a digital marketing agency.
