Conguitos joins forces with the ICOPCV through the Podologic Agreement and its training days.

As part of the activities related to the launch of Tecnobaby, the Spanish brand Conguitos organised, together with the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Podología de la Comunidad Valenciana (ICOPCV), a training day on respectful footwear. This event, addressed to footwear representatives, aims to help them face everyday challenges and to learn about the characteristics and benefits of this type of footwear from podiatrist and Vice-president of ICOPCV, María Lozano.

Motivated by innovation and the latest trends in children’s footwear, on the morning of October 24th Conguitos held a training day focused on respectful footwear, with special attention to the production and distribution of Tecnobaby, our line focused on the first steps of the little ones. Since the beginning of Tecnobaby’s production, it has had the support and advice of the ICOPCV, and this time it was no different. During this conference, aimed at footwear representatives and distributors, the main challenges when representing the Tecnobaby brand were addressed, resolving possible doubts about the importance of respecting the natural anatomy of the feet in the first steps.

Get to know the Tecnobaby line

The Tecnobaby line, launched at the beginning of September, has been very well received, representing 25% of Conguitos’ total turnover. For this reason, Conguitos promotes training and the development of knowledge among its footwear representatives, ensuring that its customers acquire a product that guarantees respect for the health of the feet of children who are just starting to walk.

Evidence-based advice

To ensure accurate information based on scientific evidence, the event was attended by podiatry expert María Lozano de la Hoz, Vice-president of ICOPCV. During the workshop, attendees were able to learn first-hand about the essential characteristics of respectful footwear and how the Tecnobaby line complies with these standards. In addition, participants had the opportunity to solve doubts directly with ICOPCV representatives about the design, characteristics and benefits of respectful footwear.

Conguitos reaches a great agreement with the ICOPCV

In addition to training, Conguitos has celebrated today an important milestone: the institutional signing of the Podologic Agreement with the ICOPCV. This agreement consolidates the collaboration between both entities, underlining the joint commitment with children’s podiatric health. The founder of the Conguitos brand, Enrique Esquitino, declared that ‘this training day is a great opportunity to educate and raise awareness about the importance of respectful footwear in the first years of life’. He also states that ‘having the support of ICOPCV reinforces our commitment to children’s wellbeing and allows us to offer products designed with the utmost professionalism’.

On the other hand, María Lozano, Vice-president of ICOPCV points out that ‘we are pleased that more and more footwear companies in the Valencian Community, as is the case of Conguitos, are committed to having the Podologic certificate, which indicates that footwear has been manufactured according to quality and comfort standards aimed at respecting and protecting foot health, following recommendations established by podiatrists’.
