Conguitos partners with ICOPCV through the Podologic Agreement and its training sessions

15 June 2026

As part of the activities related to the launch of Tecnobaby, the brand Conguitos has organised, together with the Illustrious Official College of Podiatry of the Valencian Community (ICOPCV), a training session on respectful footwear. This event, aimed at footwear representatives, aims to help tackle everyday challenges and allow attendees to learn, alongside podiatrist and Vice President of the ICOPCV, María Lozano, about the characteristics and benefits of this type of footwear.

Motivated by innovation and the latest trends in children’s footwear, Conguitos held a training session focused on respectful footwear on the morning of 24 October, with special attention to the production and distribution of Tecnobaby, our line focused on the first steps of the little ones. Since the start of Tecnobaby’s production, it has received support and advice from ICOPCV, and this occasion was no different. During this session, aimed at footwear representatives and distributors, the main challenges of representing the Tecnobaby brand were addressed, resolving potential doubts about the importance of respecting the natural anatomy of the feet during the first steps.

Discover the Tecnobaby line

The Tecnobaby line, launched in early September, has received an excellent reception, already representing 25% of Conguitos’ total revenue. Therefore, Conguitos promotes training and knowledge development among its footwear representatives, ensuring that their customers acquire a product that guarantees respect for the health of the feet of children who are starting to walk.

Advice based on scientific evidence

To ensure accurate information based on scientific evidence, the event featured the presence of podiatry expert María Lozano de la Hoz, Vice President of ICOPCV. During the workshop, attendees were able to learn first-hand about the essential characteristics of respectful footwear and how the Tecnobaby line meets these standards. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to resolve doubts directly with the representation of ICOPCV regarding the design, characteristics, and benefits of respectful footwear.

Conguitos reaches a significant agreement with ICOPCV

In addition to the training, Conguitos celebrated an important milestone today: the institutional signing of the Podologic Agreement with ICOPCV. This agreement consolidates the collaboration between both entities, highlighting the joint commitment to children’s podological health. The founder of the Conguitos brand, Enrique Esquitino, stated that “this training session is a great opportunity to educate and raise awareness about the importance of respectful footwear in the early years of life.” He also asserts that “having the support of ICOPCV reinforces our commitment to child welfare and allows us to offer products designed with the utmost professional rigor.”

For her part, María Lozano, Vice President of ICOPCV, noted that “we are pleased that more and more footwear brands in the Valencian Community, such as Conguitos, are opting to obtain the Podologic certificate, indicating that it is footwear that has been manufactured according to quality and comfort standards aimed at respecting and protecting foot health, following the recommendations established by podiatrists.”
