The next edition of Babykid Spain + FIMI, which will take place from 21 to 23 January 2026 at Feria Valencia, is consolidating as the international reference event for the children’s universe. With three months to go until the event, the organisation has already confirmed the participation of 43 top-level footwear brands, a figure that reflects the strength and confidence that the fair generates in the industry.

The 2026 edition coincides with a symbolic moment: the 100th edition of FIMI. This centenary reflects the continuity of the fair in the children’s fashion sector. The occasion will serve to review the evolution of the fair over the years, while presenting the latest innovations in the sector.

Alicia Gimeno, director of the fair, has highlighted that “this response from the children’s footwear sector three months before the fair reinforces our positioning as an essential business platform. The support from brands across four continents for our historic edition demonstrates the vitality of the sector and the need for a global meeting point to create real business opportunities.”

Now, more and more brands are emerging that focus on this type of footwear or incorporate this line of shoes backed by studies and experts.

Among the footwear brands, the international presence is noteworthy, with the participation of 14 brands from diverse countries such as Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, and Turkey.

Lolly Shoes, the ambassador of the sector

As is tradition, Lolly Shoes will serve as the ambassador character for the footwear sector at the fair. This figure reinforces the identity of the area dedicated to footwear and becomes a symbol of the quality, style, and diversity that characterise the exhibiting brands.
